Frequently Asked Questions

The Pro Coach App has been built to keep users informed about the Pro Coach Partnership coaching events, provide access to up-to-date coaching articles, videos, and podcasts, assist in career planning through development action plans, and offering information on coaching programs and qualifications.

The app is built for the professional coaching workforce which can be defined as:

1.  Coaches or managers currently or recently employed by English professional football clubs or PCP game partners, working with player pathways, academies, senior professionals, or international players 

2.  Coach developers or leaders currently or recently employed by English professional football clubs or game partners, supporting or directing coaches or managers working with player pathways, academies, senior professionals, or international players. 

3. Coaches or Managers that are English or FA qualified and are or have recently been employed in elite roles outside the English system.

4. Professional Footballers Association (PFA) members, including current and former players, who hold an active FA UEFA B Coaching Qualification.

You can download the Pro Coach App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Access to the app is restricted to professional coaches with a UEFA B licence or above.

For coaches working in professional clubs, you can register your account on the Sign Up page on the app.

If  you're not currently working in a professional club or don't have access to a club email address, please visit the Sign Up page to register your account.

Please check your junk/spam folder for a verification code from the Pro Coach App.

If after 10 minutes you have still not received a code, please fill out our contact form

You may already have a Pro Coach account set up. Head to "Log In" and enter your personal email address. If you have an account, you will be emailed a 6 digit verification code.

If you don't already have an account registered, check that you're using a club email address with a valid club domain. Please contact us if you're still having issues.

We have determined professional clubs to be clubs in the top four Men’s leagues, top two Women’s leagues, or those with a category 1–4 academy. If you're having issues with your club email address, please contact us. Full list of clubs below:

If you have an active UEFA B licence or above, yes, you can access the app.

Please fill out our registration form and we will verify your coaching credentials

Our partners at the LMA/LCA and FA will validate your coaching credentials so please ensure you provide a correct email address and FAN ID.

It can take up to two weeks to check your account and set up your account. If you haven't heard back after 2 weeks, please fill out our contact form and we can ensure the correct account has been registered.

 The ICS strategy is a collaborative association of key football organisations in English professional football, including the Premier League, The Football Association, EFL, Women’s Super League, Women’s Championship, Professional Footballers Association, League Managers Association, and League Coaches Association. 

Their goal is to provide world-leading coaching and manager education, development, and career pathways for both men’s and women’s professional football in England, fostering a thriving game led by a diverse workforce of top coaches and managers.
